Attorney Aisha Cooks is admitted to practice law as a member of the Illinois Bar and the General Bar of the United States District Court (Northern District of Illinois). During her years of practice, Attorney Cooks has successfully litigated cases in Cook, Will and DuPage Counties of Illinois in the areas of family law (divorce, child support and custody), probate law (guardianships and decedent estates) and consumer law (debtor defense and foreclosure defense).

Committed to her conviction to not only provide legal services but also legal understanding to every client, Attorney Cooks established The Law Office of Aisha S. Cooks in September 2012. Attorney Cooks concentrates in the areas of family law, residential real estate law, probate law, and small business consulting.

Immediately after completing her legal studies, Attorney Cooks entered the private practice of law as an Associate Attorney at Power & Dixon, P.C. Attorney Cooks later joined The Evans Williams Law Group, LLC as a Staff Attorney.

Attorney Cooks earned her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law (Chicago, IL) in 2008, where she received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Trial Advocacy and the American Association for Justice Partnership in Advocacy Scholars Award. Attorney Cooks earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University (Evanston, IL) in 2003.
